Alexander’s Horseshoe Bar Grill is located just three minutes from Interstate 80 in the California rural community of Loomis (population 7,280). The old brick structure is at the corner of Taylor Road and Horseshoe Bar Road in downtown Loomis. The landmark building, only ten minutes drive east of Roseville, has become a destination restaurant.
*Plenty of parking off Horseshoe Bar Road at corner of Magnolia & Walnut Streets. Additional parking across street behind Jimboy’s Tacos in the Train Depot parking lot.
DIRECTIONS: Driving from Sacramento toward Reno, take the Horseshoe Bar exit (No. 110–look for the sign). Go right (north) at the stop sign and drive straight to Taylor Road. The restaurant will be on your left.
Driving from Reno toward Sacramento, exit on Horseshoe Bar. Go north to Taylor Road.
